I just finished reading For one More Day by Mitch Albom
and like all albom books, you'll end up crying or
getting emotional...
i really liked the book, but tuesdays with morie is still no. 1 for me
well, sometimes we take our mothers for granted,
or the people we love because we're not thinking of a possibility
of losing them...
but when we do lose them,
that's the time that we'll realize how much they matter to us
its a very short book, simply written,
albom's writing is just so plain honest...
you can see it as if he's telling you the story
face to face...
if i'm left with one more day...
what would i do?
i haven't really thought about dying
but dying in the place of someone you love seems like a good way to go...
-bella, twilight
well i spent the last 2 weeks of my December last year
reading the mind boggling Twilight series...
i read all the four books and the unfinished installment of Midnight sun
it's addictive, it's entertaining...
but what do i get from reading the twilight saga?
well if i'd be a character in the saga,
i'd be edward, not bella-eww
why? because edward always thinks of his actions
and acts responsibly, most of the time (*before bella got into his life)
while bella just does what she feels like
without considering anything
it was a whirlwind of romance...
maybe that's why girls like it and
boys hate it...
actually i watched twilight twice,
the first one alone
and the second time with my dad and my brother...
i can really see that they're not interested..
they just 'watched' the part wherein the vampires get to play baseball
that's why i got that conclusion
i liked it during december
but when the fever is over,
you'll look back and think...
is it worth my time reading more than 2000 pages?
it will take you to a place where everything is not ordinary
where every little thing counts...
but...
i think that it's too far from reality
that 's why i don't like it so much now...
it's not far from reality because of the vampires or the
volturri or the shape shifters...
it will make you believe that there could be
a love so ideal, so right and at the same time so wrong...
it goes beyond the ideals of love and destiny...
but we should face reality...
and open our eyes to the real love.
but i got a beautiful quote from carlisle...
"It's not because of our condition that we cannot rise above the rest and prove ourselves..."
in the book, it's only carlisle who believes in God..
edward does too, but he doesn't think that he has a soul...
and bella, she doesn't even mention god...
